Bosen Production Horse Sale features Futurity and Derby

The 14th Annual Bosen Production Horse Sale will feature their sale online this year from July 1 – September 1, 2010. Pedigrees and photos are available online at www.bosenhorse.com or you can stop by the Bosen Land & Livestock in Preston, Idaho and see the sale horses. Be sure to call ahead for an appointment, (208) 852-6444.

 Part of the excitement of this sale is that horses purchased through the sale, along with any who are by a Bosen stallion or who have the Bosen c arrow brand, are eligible for a $15,000 added Futurity and a $5,000 added Derby. The races are run at Sandy Downs Race Track in Idaho Falls, Idaho and are open to Paints, Appaloosas, Quarter Horses and Throughbreds. The trials are generally held in August and the finals in August/September timeframe. Dates haven’t been announced yet for 2011.

 For those interested in barrel racing, Bosen also sponsors a barrel futurity, slot race and open 4D, featuring a Bosen Horse Incentive. The barrel race is held in October at the Golden Spike Arena in Ogden, Utah. They also offer the Incentive at several other Bosen barrel events throughout the year.
