OKLAHOMA CITY – Much like the great heavyweight boxing matches of a generation ago, Remington Park’s Saturday night program will feature a power-punching stakes race with a duo trying to settle the score once and for all this season.

The $25,000 National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum Stakes pits the once-defeated Super-paint Got Country Grip against the challenger than knocked him off last month in Bust N Moves. Saturday night’s race will be the third meeting between the two this season as Got Country Grip had the better of the battle when they met in an allowance race in March.
The rematch is already extremely attractive but the National Cowboy stakes race carries added spice as top 3-year-old Paint SM Country Snowman has entered and will take on older horses for the first time in his career.
